Steve Harris (Detective Sparrow) Steve Harris is best known for his portrayal of Eugene Young in the Emmy Award-winning television series The Practice, for which he has received the 1998 and 1999 Viewers for Quality Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama. He was also nominated for a 1999 Emmy award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and for both a 1998 and 1999 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series. His feature film credits include The Rock, Sugar Hill, The Mod Squad and the independent film Beyond The City Limits. Born and raised in Chicago, Harris earned a graduate degree in theatre from the University of Delaware. After graduation, several theatre roles lead to a role in the pilot of the television series Homicide: Life On The Streets, and a breakthrough role in the docu-drama Against The Wall. His other television credits include Law and Order, New York Undercover, Murder One and Chicago Hope. Also a seasoned stage actor, Harris has gain critical acclaim for his off Broadway performance in of The Heliotrope Bouquet and in regional productions of Macbeth, Richard III, Julius Caesar and The Great White Hope. < Previous member Cast members continues >
